Barbara Chamoun, alias Chamoon, créatrice sonore et productrice de musique franco-libanaise installée à Stockholm, a sorti son premier album, Mother, en 2021.
Un album conceptuel qui explore le fait que nous naissons malgré nous et la beauté de grandir et de trouver notre place sur Terre. Un album où colère, mélancolie et espoir se mêlent dans un univers onirique et éclectique. On y trouve le titre Body in between, qui mérite assurément une attention particulière.
Sa production se distingue par une sonorité expérimentale si singulière qu'elle vous transportera dans un univers totalement nouveau. La voix de Chamoon épouse parfaitement le rythme du morceau. Son style, mêlant poésie et chœurs envoûtants, aboutit à une approche à la fois ludique et sombre.

A concept album about the fact that we are born against our will and the beauty of growing up and finding our place on earth. An album where anger, melancholy and hope conjoin in a dreamlike, eclectic universe. It includes the track Body in between, which is definitely worth paying attention to.
This production stands out so much with its experimental sound that you’ll feel like you’ve entered a whole new world. Chamoon’s vocals perfectly follow the song’s flow. Her style, at times mixed with poetry and hauntingly layered choirs, resolves in a somewhat playful take on the dark.
